SPRING EQUINOX SPRING CLEAN

Spring is incoming and it is time for a spiritual spring clean.

Spring cleaning originated from back in the day when all homes were heated by fire, all of the windows and doors would have been shut  tight, to keep in the heat, which led to soot and grime accumulating over the winter months… So once the windows and doors were to be opened again, it was time to spring clean!!

Even though I don’t have a fire in my flat, I can totally relate, I have kept the curtains closed to keep the heat in and now I am opening them, it feels like the clutter that hasn’t bothered me through winter is suddenly feeling overwhelming and the sun light is shining through the skylights and I am seeing dust ( and cat fur ) everywhere!!!

So as well as an actual physical clean up and getting a little Marie Kondo on some of my clutter, remembering that  physical stuff holds energy, so whatever is no longer serving me is taking up precious energetic space in my flat.

After a deep clean, it is time for a proper spiritual  energetic deep clean.

For the ultimate house cleanse, I  open all of the windows and doors and start at the room furthest from the front door, working my way around your home and finally ending up at the front door.

Personally I use my Bodyguard Incense, but burning sage or rosemary is also fine.

For extra oooomph here,  and to shake up stagnant energy, I use sound too.

Personally, I use a wooden spoon and a pot, but you can clap or if you have a drum you could use that.

So as the incense is burning, and I am banging on the pots, I say the following out loud:

“Any unwelcome energy be gone”

“Any entities that are not invited, I ask you to leave now”

“Any unwelcome spirits, I am asking you to leave now”

“If you do not have my best interest at heart, I am telling you to get out, you are unwelcome here”( or words to that effect)

I then continue to work my way through my home,  being really thorough and allowing the smoke to travel through every nook and cranny, under beds, on top of cupboards, sock drawers, cutlery draws, everywhere!

I work my way to the front door and then close it facing outwards and say “goodbye”

Ahhh I even feel lighter writing this!

I promise you will do this and it will feel amazing…. Top tip, I always put fresh sheets on the bed when I do this too.

Then it’s time to start manifesting!

Re- open the door and welcome in your blessings.

You could burn my Magnet Incense here or light a candle.

As you open the door, say “I welcome blessings and endless opportunities and unlimited abundance to my life and my home”
